Lumira is a pre-launch software service that estimates the size and price of a solar system from a utility bill and roof photos, and connects buyers with independent, third-party solar installers in Kenya. We are not a manufacturer, installer, financier, or lender.

Any system size, production estimate, or price range generated by our AI is a starting estimate based on the information you provide. It is not a binding quote. A final price, timeline, and scope of work can only come from a certified installer after they review your site.

Installers on our platform are independent businesses, not our employees, agents, or partners in a legal sense. We vet installers before they can receive leads, but we do not guarantee their work, pricing, or timelines. Any contract for installation is between you and the installer directly, and any dispute about that work is between you and the installer.

You agree to provide accurate information (including your utility bill and roof photos) when requesting a quote. Inaccurate information will produce an inaccurate estimate.

The Lumira name, logo, and the content of this website belong to Lumira. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumira is not liable for any losses arising from the accuracy of an AI estimate, the performance of a third-party installer, or your reliance on information found on this site.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.

We may update these terms as the product develops. We will change the "Last updated" date above whenever we do.
